About the Leadership

          Randy Schumacher
      RTB Volunteer Apologist

Randy Schumacher accepted Christ at a young age, and has remained active in gospel preaching churches. He truly believes that Jesus died for him and that he needed to accept and follow Him, because through Him he has eternal life.

“I have seen enough of life and death in this world to know that Jesus Christ is our only Savior, that faith and trust in Him and His words and deeds are the only way to a fulfilled life, now and for all eternity.  Praise is to our God, that He has provided a way for us to enjoy Him, forever more.”

Randy has a BSc in Engineering from Hofstra University, and did undergraduate work in Commerce and Engineering at Drexel University.  He spent his career in engineering, design, and senior management for cathode ray electron gun design; fabrication of quartz products for micro-electronics; and systems for cleaning and drying medical components and electronic parts to sub-micron levels. He holds several patents in these fields.   Since 2000 he has taken numerous updated courses in astronomy, astrophysics, mathematics, languages and music .

Flemming Rose
Network Officer

Flemming was privileged to grow up in a Christian home but still had to come to faith himself by God’s leading.  After making the decision as a boy to accept Jesus as Savior, he continued to grow in his understanding of service and commitment; as well as his role as an adult in growing the Kingdom of the Lord.

He has been honored to serve in various evangelical churches over the years on many boards and committees. He has been involved in church planting, development, finance, music and elder duties over the past 25 years.

Flemming has a BS in Civil Engineering.  He  worked in commercial construction for 12 years and has spent the last 25 years as a hardwood flooring contractor.

Flemming has been certified as a Chapter Officer by Reasons To Believe.

 Dan Fry
Network Officer

After graduating from high school (Cortez, CO) in 1961, I headed over to the eastern slope to play football at a junior college for a year and then at Colorado School of Mines, along with obtaining a degree in Metallurgical Engineering.  Shortly after being employed by a mining chemicals company in New Jersey, I was confronted with a major issue of choosing to follow Christ or continuing on my own path.  The appropriate answer to my dilemma was obvious, and I submitted to Him.  Subsequent to that event, I served in the Army for two years and then moved back to NJ to marry and raise a family.  Along with that, I obtained a Masters Degree in Business and worked in engineering, sales and marketing with several companies engaged in hydraulic and drilling equipment.  Joyce and I have been especially blessed to have three children, Sean, Todd & Leslie who are all married; between Sean and Leslie we also have seven grandkids.

I have also engaged in various ministries, including a military service men’s center while in the Army and two churches since being discharged in 1969.  Involvements included; Leader and Participant in Men’s Small Groups; Head of Men’s Ministry; Various Adult SS Classes; Boys Brigade; Elder Board.  Joyce, and I have enjoyed meeting and entertaining missionaries and leaders from other ministries over the years of our marriage, sometimes having them stay at our house for a few nights.

I have just completed the Volunteer Apologist course during this summer, which was challenging but very enjoyable.  And, in working along with the other leaders in the NY/NJ area, I hope to see a growth in our influence and attendance of sessions.
